Taylor Gidney, widely known as “Mama Gids,” is a cornerstone of the Valemount, BC, riding community and a fierce advocate for backcountry longevity. As the founder of the “Forever 29” initiative and the “Mama Gids Gives Back” project, Taylor has dedicated her career to ensuring that the "Lineage of the Line" isn’t just about who can ride the steepest slope, but who has the education to return home every night.

Jeremy began his backcountry career over 15 years ago in the deep snow of coastal British Columbia. After years spent exploring complex terrain and mastering technical riding, he shifted his focus toward safety and education, gaining his professional guiding credentials.

My journey began in Ontario around the age of eight, exploring local trails and learning the fundamentals. After moving to Alberta, I discovered mountain riding in 2016. What started as casual weekend trips quickly grew into a foundational passion, leading me to relocate to Sicamous, BC, where I spent three consecutive winters fully immersed in developing my backcountry skills.

AJ is eager to share his deep knowledge with the young riders in this contest. His mentorship will focus on the foundational elements of mountain riding: machine control, efficient throttle management, and making calculated decisions in high-consequence environments. He looks forward to helping the next generation refine their technique and become safer, more confident riders.

Alexander represents the new wave of talent in the motorized backcountry community. Known for his fearless, aggressive approach, he is quickly establishing himself by tackling extreme technical lines and executing large, high-consequence drops. His dynamic riding style is all about pushing limits and maximizing the mountain's potential.

Todd brings decades of real-world backcountry knowledge to the mentorship team. A true enthusiast, Todd continues to push his own personal limits—even at 54—demonstrating that passion for the mountains has no age restriction.
