Alexander represents the new wave of fearless talent rapidly reshaping the motorized backcountry community. He embodies the sheer, unbridled ambition of the new generation, perfectly positioned to assess the highest-level submissions from the Deep Line Masters bracket. Alexander is not an educator or a guide; he is a pure performance rider focused entirely on maximizing the mountain's potential.
Alexander strongly supports the entire rider progression, from the first trail ride to the biggest drop. He recognizes that every aggressive move has its roots in the foundation built by family.
Valuing the Start: He respects and celebrates the Throttle Starters (10-13) who get their start riding and learning safety and control alongside their parents and family. That initial guidance is essential.
Championing the Transition: He champions the spirit of riders who take that family foundation and then transition to riding with their peers, where the progression curve accelerates. He wants to see the courage and calculated risk that develops when riders push each other.
"If you’re not pushing the limit, you’re not learning. Show us the biggest line you’ve got—and prove you earned the right to ride it. We know every great rider starts with their family, but we want to see what you and your crew are doing now."
Alexander Hutton is the ultimate judge for raw talent and unfiltered commitment, ensuring the winner of The Respect the Send Challenge earns their title by going bigger than the rest.
Alexander is quickly establishing himself in the sport through a dynamic, high-stakes riding style. His background is rooted in the aggressive, freestyle-influenced mountain riding that defines the "Full Send" culture.
Riding Style: Fearless and aggressive. He is known for tackling extreme technical lines and consistently executing large, high-consequence drops that test the limits of both the machine and the rider.
Perspective: As the youngest judge on the panel, he brings an uncompromising perspective, seeking riders who are not just repeating known lines, but innovating and demonstrating absolute commitment.
What He's Looking For: Alexander will be grading submissions based on "THE SEND" pillar. He wants to see the raw talent, the absolute commitment at the edge of the safe zone, and the calculated risk required for the most difficult maneuvers. He’s looking for the future of the sport.
Alexander's primary motivation for being part of The Respect the Send Challenge is to actively influence and shape the culture of the next generation of aggressive mountain riders.
As a young rising talent, his motivation is twofold:
To Champion Pure, Fearless Talent: He wants to identify and validate other young riders who share his drive for pushing the limits, tackling extreme lines, and executing large, high-consequence drops. He is looking for those who innovate, not imitate.
To Integrate Calculated Risk: He is motivated to ensure that the riders who are "sending it" the biggest are also the ones who demonstrate calculated risk management and respect the safety foundation they learned growing up riding with their families. He wants to prove that extreme riding and responsible planning are not mutually exclusive.
In short, he is motivated to find the next version of himself and certify that their ambition is backed by discipline.
