This series sits at the heart of the Respect the Send Challenge, blending the wisdom of experienced riders and educators with the raw passion of the next generation. Each interview features a top professional or semi-pro rider alongside one of their parents or primary mentors.

The Foundation: We delve into the early years, focusing on how parents instilled the crucial habits of safety, machine maintenance, and mountain respect. (The lessons Todd Hutton promised his wife, Shelly, he would always enforce.)

The Progression: We track the pivotal moment when the young rider—like a young Shena Thomas or Landon Pavan—was ready to leave the family trails and begin pushing technical limits with their peers.
